The Story Behind GGDM

The Global Gathering of Drama & Film Ministers was born out of a historic moment — the 40th Anniversary celebration of Mount Zion Faith Ministries (MZFM), one of Africa's most influential Christian drama and film ministries. For the first time in history, national associations, regional fellowships, and global partners were brought together under one umbrella to celebrate drama ministers and filmmakers all over the world.

From this foundation, GGDM emerged as the premier annual convocation for kingdom creatives globally — a space where faith meets film, where ministry meets media, and where the next generation of storytellers is raised and empowered.

The International Association of Evangelical Drama & Movie Makers (IAEDM) and the Mount Zion Institute Alumni International Fellowship (MZIAIF) serve as the founding co-conveners of this gathering, with MZIAIF's International Christian Film Festival (MZIAIF_ICFF) driving the training and film celebration components.
